This thread has really gone off track but chiming in to say that those of you who don’t believe the family courts still favor Mothers have no idea what you’re talking about. I’ve been through it myself as a Mom, I’ve been through it with my second Husband as a Dad, my brother, my boss, I could go on. Men seriously get treated like babysitters and money trees, it’s disgusting. The moms call the shots, the courts back them up. When my DH’s ex keeps the kids, he’s told there’s nothing he can do and to take it up with the court. The police told us that if he were the one who kept the kids, he’d probably have kidnapping charges. Family Law is literal crazy town.

Yes, she would have been much better off given how things turned out for her and her AP and us. She isn't happy and forced to stay with him over money. The sad part is they never married so she doesn't have his retirement benefits, health insurance (desperately needed) and more. We do have our own kids, and after blocking contact for years, now that her kids are grown, she suddenly turned nice and calls/texts every so often, especially seeing how ours are. Why can't she leave us alone?

I wasn't there as plan B. I wasn't around at the time of the divorce or many years after. Good try. You can make every dad and wife the evil ones but I can only feel bad for your kids given how you speak to others and assume the worst. You probably really did a number on your kids. Many men would love to have full custody and would have done far more parenting.


You are entirely too emotionally invested in the first wife —especially now that her kids are grown. WTF is wrong with all three of you. I think I’ve talked to my DH’s XW less than 10 times and I have no idea who she is sleeping with or why.

Yet you- having NEVER been through what your current husbands precious partner- and the mother of his child- has been through. So you want to not be judged for judging her? That’s not how any of this works.

Ummm the difference is I’m actually invested in my own situation, so it’d make sense I spend more time talking about it and defending it. Strangers googling songs they haven’t heard in decades to prove their point about something they don’t know anything about and have no investment in is weird af. There are also apparently two “crazy second wife” posters here

Why post about your situation if you don’t want people to “waste” their time responding?
