I wish that DC could simply rejoin Maryland. (“Retrocession” is the term.). Muriel Bowser is the worst DC mayor since Marion Barry. To say that Larry Hogan puts her to shame is an understatement.

- A Democrat.

Same. Blue no matter who this Nov but I was a fan of Hogan when I lived in MD (now in VA) and think he is now putting VA to shame with what a great job he is doing handling this crisis.

As to the moron who keeps posting about MD having more cases than VA - given how abysmally low testing is everywhere - anyone who starts to do a good job by testing more so we can know more is going to spike in the case count. VA only looks low because there are tons of people not tested (and most states are in the same boat).

Check your math, you put too many zeros in your calculation for Maryland.

Also, Maryland’s now up to 85 positive diagnoses while Virginia is at 77. So tell me again how Maryland’s measures have been more effective?

I, at one point, prided myself that, unlike the tribe, Democrats were intelligent and tried to be rationale. Clearly, I am mistaken with respect to some comments on this forum.

I agree with others. I have never voted for a Republican and I think he’s doing a great job in this crisis. He is proactive, making hard decisions for the better of the community, and communicating well.

I am the same. Haven’t liked him. Don’t hate him like I hate Trump. But Hogan’s leadership during this crisis has been incredible.

I have never voted for a Republican in my life, and I have objected to a number of things Hogan has done while in office, but I don’t have bad word to say about how Governor Hogan is handling this crisis. Trump should be following his lead.

Hogan’s doing great. Way more proactive leadership from him than I expected. I didn’t vote for him but am thankful I live in Maryland.

Agreed with PPs. Another diehard Democrat who is really appreciating Hogan's leadership on CV. And, I hate the school year calendar bs with a passion!

Hogan is doing a good job, but he governs Maryland, so of course that state is going to have a comparatively high number of cases nationally, just given its location on the Boston-DC corridor and the lifestyles of many of its residents.

Wow.. this thread is not going the way OP thought it would. Other than OP (and maybe some sockpuppetting), everyone else seems to think Hogan's doing a great job.
