Coastal Carolina is on Spring Break and just moved classes online until 3/23.

I feel the same way about St. Lawrence University. Canton, NY is in the middle of nowhere. But I suppose there are cases in NY state - just no where near Canton.

Clarkson, right next door in Potsdam, is not closing (yet). I think once schools started closing others felt they had to follow just in case.

McDaniel will have two weeks of on line classes after their spring break.

Uva campus tours cancelled.

Penn State and Bowdoin both on break and both notified that classes are canceled through the end of the semester.

Agree. These kids were safer on campus. This is a basic cold with very little symptoms to teens/young adults. Many are already walking around positive and don't even know. Now they will be out visiting friends, public libraries, malls, etc.... and around the older people they should be avoiding.

JMU will not hold in-person classes the week of March 16. Beginning March 23, most JMU classes will move online until at least April 5. A communication will be issued by March 27 regarding the delivery of course content after April 5.

Michigan is canceling classes on Thursday and Friday and will begin remote classes from 3/16 onward.

At this time, there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Villanova's campus.
However, the University has made the difficult decision to cancel all upcoming campus visits and Undergraduate Admission-sponsored events from Saturday, March 14 through Monday, April 13, 2020. This cancellation includes all daily Nova Nation Presentations and campus tours, Junior Preview Day, Copy-A-Cat Shadow Sessions, Group Visits, Nova at Night and other programming during these dates.

Villanova will continue to monitor and evaluate the situation and will decide no later than Friday, April 3 whether programming will resume following Easter Break on Tuesday, April 14.

What does this mean for my board and meals payment?

Penn is currently on spring break and will extend break by one week. Classes will resume March 23 and will be online for the rest of the semester.

Wash U will extend Spring Break until the 23rd and then online until April 30th.

I would imagine all of VA public colleges will follow UVA. The closures are usually done in conjunction with the Governors office and the state public health division.

UC-Boulder just moved to online classes starting on Monday for the rest of the semester.
