The people who can’t turn left without the explicit invitation of the green arrow. Good one.
Also not mentioned yet - the cretins who do not give a thank you wave when you go out of your way to let them in or through. Bah.

It’s not like the grocery store. There’s no “line.” If there are two lanes and one is backed up for miles, I’m going to cruise up closer to the exit and take a gap. I’m breaking no laws and endangering no one. It’s easy to find a gap these days since many of you are looking at your phones anyway. Now THAT’S the real danger.

I hate these people will all of my being. Nothing gets my blood boiling more. Why do you think it's ok to cut in line?? Would you do it at the grocery store?

Uh, that "backed up for miles" is called a line. I agree that people shouldn't be looking at their phones, but two wrongs don't make a right - you are an entitled, selfish jerk. And probably a Maryland driver.
No, that’s not a “line.” There’s no such traffic control or motor vehicle definition. And I’m breaking no law.
Laws of courtesy do matter just the same.
Nasty drivers often rely on courtesy of others.
Maryland drivers though show a lot of hesitation an inexperience
And some are arrogantly rude bullies.
Maryland drivers gonna drive like Maryland drivers.
Just because you are breaking no laws, doesn't mean you aren't an asshole

- Going into a turn lane at the last minute, and the butt of your car blocks the main lane
- About to miss your exit so you last second hang out in the blocked out area. STOP IT. CONTINUE FORWARD AND THEN TURN AROUND SAFELY LIKE A NORMAL HUMAN
- Last second lane changers. Who cares if you're about to miss that street? Continue forward and turn around safely.
- People who block intersections
- People who go slow in the left lane
- Breaking randomly, or because you don't know where you're going. Pull over.
- Driving after drinking, obviously
- Driving and talking on the phone - even bluetooth calls. It's showing in your random breaking and slow, distracted driving
- Repeated non-signaling offenses
What else?

I’m doing it to piss you off, since your impatient ass has been tailgating me for the last couple of miles. Chill out a little and find something else to be outraged about. Honestly drivers are so erratic that I assume nothing. It might possibly you off, but I’m not putting myself in danger just so you can make the light.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:ive got one. if you are turning right or left onto a 4 lane road.
you turn into the lane of travel nearest to you.
So if you are turning right you turn into the right most lane.
if you are turning left, you turn into the left most lane.
you don't need to be mario andretti and nail the apex of the turn and drift out into the far lane.
YES - and if you are the black/yellow car turning left you don't need to wait for the red/blue car to finish turning. You each should turn into your own lane.
This drives me nuts.
I always learned that when you are turning left, you do not have the right of way. Is this not true anymore?

You may not be breaking a law. But I’m not breaking a law when I don’t let you merge either. I’m not letting you in. Some sucker will, but it won’t be me.
That’s the point. Nobody has to let me in. The natural flow of traffic will easily accommodate more vehicles slipping into the gaps than that single column of vehicles backing up in the right lane. Anyway, when you aggressively speed up to try to block me, all you’re doing is creating a nice gap behind you for me to slide into, so thank you very much!
I think that you are just proving PP's point that you are an entitled, selfish jerk.

It is so satisfying to get up the road a bit and see one of those jackasses being ticketed AND losing all that extra time they bought themselves by pulling that maneuver.
Do you mean....the shoulder?
Are you from the US?
Yes. The shoulder, the emergency lane, the breakdown lane... I was not aware that using a common identifier for the lane would be confusing to the educated, high HHI populace of DCUM. If it is confusing to you, a simple google search will turn up multiple results to explain it.
I am from the US, are you?
