DH drives more because I'm better at Yelping places to stop for food.

Also, he is just way more into cars, both cars are essentially his, and I only drive once a week or so (I commute by bicycle). On the other hand, I am perfectly capable of driving to Boston alone with two kids, and DH and I have also done very long road trips (longest was New York to Vancouver) and we split the driving.

I'm the wife and I do all the driving, unless we are visiting his parents in his hometown. He drives there because he's more familiar with the roads, and I hate them (narrow, twisty, no shoulder). Otherwise, I drive because I like driving more than he does, I have more driving experience, and I'm a better driver (especially on the freeway, which he hates).

Because he is really good at finding free parking and I am not.
