I joke that our family prefers urban hiking since often travel to big cities. I doubt we would enjoy the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, etc.
Alaska seems far, expensive and boring.
Like others, I’ve steered clear of India (passed up free business travel opportunity).
When it comes to spending my own money for travel, I prefer the Caribbean or Europe.
We used to shun cruising until we had a blast on a Disney cruise. Now we love the opportunity they present to spend each day on a new beach (southern Caribbean itineraries are the best), and get dressed up for dinner (our kids love it). I discovered that laying on a lounger in a quiet spot on a deck relaxing in the sun or shade with a good book is magical...particularly when I send someone to fetch me a drink.
