Well plenty of house flippers invest in houses and sell them...to other people. You don't have to move every 6 months for blog content. Every show on HGTV is people who have made a business out of flipping or home design for others. You don't see all the hosts moving all the time.

Not necessarily, they didn't move to do the houses in Cape Charles and all Sherry talked about was how much they loved Cape Charles. She also loved the Fan district of Richmond. They should have stayed in Virginia, kept the pink Cape Charles house, kept their house and started flipping houses locally. It would have given blog content, given their kids stability and kept them busy. They had local family and friends on Richmond to help with kids. They even used to mention John's parents watching the kids so they could drive back and forth to Cape Charles for house projects. I couldn't imagine giving that up to live on the Florida panhandle.
Also, Sherry has some issues - remember she doesn't drive??
Dude. That’s super old. She’s been driving ever since they had kids...
When? She literally never goes anywhere without John. Every time they were fixing up the house in CC they would go together, with the kids or not. Doesn’t seem like she ever drives or goes anywhere alone

Why doesn't she drive? Does anyone know?

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Dang y’all are a bunch of haters. I think they took a risk and, if nothing else, it will be a memorable family adventure of moving to another state. And if it doesn’t work out well then they can move back. Not sure why so many people are waiting around for them to “admit they were wrong”. Who cares?? I applaud them for having the courage to try something new which is not something 99% of the people on DCUM can say.
+100 So, they are optimists and look of the bright side. What's so awful about that? Yes, the timing sucks and they may want to move back but at least they aren't playing it safe and wondering "what if."
