Particularly when Arlington and FCV field strong and competitive teams in every age group.
Not going to happen. MU is not last in standings at any age group, unlike Arlington. MU beat Arlington at 2 of the 4 age groups that played this fall. So they are fielding competitive teams at some age groups.
Well now that's something to crow about. We're not last! Add some more polish, and maybe in a few years, you'll be mediocre.

1/3 of their club ECNL wins is thanks to the 07 team.
But, again, MU is to blaim for dilution. The biggest soccer club in Virginia has a losing record in ECNL.

LOL, ECNL went from 2 to 4, and DA went from 0 to 3. Which one is a bigger problem? The context of this thread is MU, and they are the only newcomer. Last one in, first one out.
I'm trying to follow the logic here and what it is that people want.
On the one hand Metro is so bad that they cant compete at teh DA level. This would imply that they lack the talent to compete. And then in the same breath, Metro is the main cause of talent dilution among the DA and ECNL clubs in NOVA.
SO if Metro folds, as many of you seem to be hoping for, exactly what is the direct benefit to the other ECNL or DA clubs? How can a club, with no talent, as many of you imply help concentrate talent within the elite soccer clubs when they don't have elite talent to begin with?
Exactly, but people have been against MU from the start. For some reason, it threatens them. What is funny is how some of these clubs still have such large rosters. It's so diluted, we are impacting the quality of their rosters, but they still put 20 on a roster.
