Why would DH be shocked? I assume my wife had a similar experience even though she claims a lower #. I had tons of fun in college with girls like you!
He is under the impression that I had been with very few men before him.I did not talk anything about this, but I may acted a bit too virginal when we are together the first time.
What does it say about your relationship -- and you character -- that you are so gleeful about his lack of knowledge on this subject?
It's scary because many women tend to downplay or omit that from their spouse. Most decent men do not want a LTR with good time Jane.
That's because most "decent" men are misogynists who expect their partners to have few partners but the skills and comfort of someone who has slept with many people. Do whatever you want that makes you happy. Discard men that care about "your number". That's something I cared about before I was 22.
Always the misogyny card. Don't you ever get tired of it?

In this case it's even worse. She's happy about it -- presumably she feels good about "pulling one over" on her partner. That speaks to their relationship and her character. She probably has kids, which means these kids are going to consciously or unconsciously pick up on these unhealthy relationship dynamics. So I don't care in the sense that I have a great relationship with my spouse so what some random internet stranger is up to is no skin off my back, but I do care insofar as these attitudes flow through society and contaminate my kids' dating pool. I am equally concerned about unethical men as well as I have both sons and daughters.
I believe in talking to their friends and family in a round about way to get info. You have to research someone, not take their word 100%. One of my family members married a women who failed to disclose a short marriage. They are now divorced of course.

Interesting. My number is 4 and I’m 41. My DH and I have never talked numbers in 16 years. I’m sure he assumes it’s higher.
That must mean you're doing something right then
Well I do enjoy licking the lollipop...

Does the answer differ if this person is a man or woman?

Silly old me here is thinking that letting a different man stick his d*ck in me every three months is a bit gross. I don't even change my toothbrush that often.
An overused toothbrush is way grosser than an active sexy life.
An old toothbrush doesn't give you Aids.
