That’s not the usual pronunciation. That sounds more like a New Jersey or New York pronunciation, but not typically mid Atlantic.


Born and raised in Maryland, 50 years old, and LOR-rince is what I’ve always heard for all Lawrences and Laurences. No one says LAH-rince or LOH-rince.
