Why not? The last chancellor got fired for messing around with this. Actually, I'd love a good excuse to get Ferebee fired.
Why?!
Because PP won’t be happy with a chancellor until they’re white.
you hit the nail on the head.![]()

Oh- anyone who works in dcps can & has been telling you all that this school system is a hot mess. You all just-cant hear it.

He comes across as a big PR machine for DCPS without actually rolling up his sleeves and trying to fix the dysfunction. Nothing major is going to change folks. Just some superficial changes. What I can’t understand is why the mayor doesn’t want schools to improve. Why does she never hire someone with an independent streak? She just wants to run the show and hires people accordingly
Queen Muriel.

Any chance she could recruit a local, young, black woman with just as much experience and more understanding of DC? Nope. Bowser got Antwan Lite from Indiana. Nice guy, but not a boat rocker and will never outshine Muriel.

Anonymous wrote:I don’t know where the son enrolled but I hope he is at Wilson. Wilson is a complete mess this year and it would be helpful if the chancellor got some sense of the problems there. Not sure if the school or central is to blame for the disfunction - probably both. Overcrowded classrooms, paper shortage, teachers have no supplies, athletics is a mess, etc. Wilson needs big time help.

What if PP is AA?
Could be, but I doubt it.
It’s been a few months and people are already demanding he get fired. What has he done for him to be considered a lap dog? From everything I’ve heard, he sounds very promising.
Oh really? Based on what?
