We could reserve a room (not the pool) for a party, but the hourly rate was very high.
My condo doesn't have these rules. So, it really depends on the condo and I find the whole "well, these are the rules" defenses to be ridiculous.
It is very, very dangerous for police to be called on black people who are just going about their lives. I have yet to see any real confirmation about the rules, and I think it is telling and crazy and awful how much people will justify this terrible choice this woman made or in the alternative diminish, mock or ignore the valid, concerning fear these poor people were put in for just having a nice time at the pool.
But go on. This thread will probably have 100's of posts fighting and defending this woman before it dies a slow death and yet another racist story occurs. The racist will get busy defending that one then. Seen it for years on DCUM.

1% chance they actually obtained it since if they did the FB post would have mentioned it.

Ted Bundy lived with his girlfriend and her daughter without murdering them. Racists can have black friends/lesbian lovers just like serial killers can have friends that are alive.
So now she's not just a racist but you've made the leap from exactly nothing that she must be a psychopath too?![]()
Some of you people are out of your minds. Honestly.
Maybe, just maybe, she's sick to death of certain people inviting a bus load of people to use (for free!) the facilities that she is actually paying for. I mean, why not invite everyone from your office to work out at your condo gym too? I'm sure that nobody else in your condo would mind. And since the washing machine and dryer work pretty well, maybe you could also prop open the door of the building and invite the local homeless community in to use the facilities. I mean, why not, right? And I'm pretty sure that she could pack the pool too, by inviting everyone she knows. She would be miss popular for the day with her friends, but it's a really obnoxious thing to do when you live in a communal space with shared facilities.
The printing facilities at your work are probably pretty good too, so maybe you could invite your kids' class in to use them one day. I'm sure your colleagues and bosses wouldn't mind....
Use your brain a bit, for the love of God.
So you don’t know what an analogy is, huh?
I never called this woman a psychopath although that picture where she grinned like a maniac and threw up her hands begs to differ. I’m simply stating that having friends or lovers of a different race does not mean that someone can’t be racist. I would point out the micro aggressions in your statement above, but you’re so unhinged that I fear your reaction, Ted.

Anonymous wrote:The HOA has the legal power to set the rules and enforce rules using legal means; ie call the police to remove persons who are trespassing or disturbing the peace, endangering others, or have been asked to leave. The Board members/ pool management has the full right to do this. And apparently they did.
The guests knew they were doing something out of the norm and without permission from the joint owners representatives by the HOA/ board. Heard stories about people breaking HOA rules by painting house a color without permission from the board. Yes the HOA has legal power.
But the “guests” decided to make it a “racial incident” for their own 5 minutes of fame. If they had been white they would have been asked to leave and they would have left.

Listen, literally the other day, I invited my sister and her kids and friends to swim at my building's pool. We did the same exact things as the people in this story, there were about 15 people total and it was a fun sun-filled afternoon with burgers and cold sodas by the pool. No one bothered us.
Then again, we're white. So, there's that.

Yeah.
Seems like the partygoers are in the wrong
Lesson here is to call the police when you are out of social media photo shaming range.
