I just pulled up the sequel and my 80s reptile brain totally went for it. It's like a mixture of nostalgia and action all in one. I will probably see it in a theater filled with other Gen xers.

While I loved the first one - I likely will not watch a sequel.

Shucks. If I stopped going to the movies because if the actors/actresses religions, I would never see a movie. All of the major and minor religions are full of cult followers. Some religions are given leeway for the cultish ways because they have survived. It however does not mean there are not cults with imperfect leaders and believers.
