Hmm maybe the advice should be dont marry someone who doesn't have female and male friends. B.c my DH says most of his guy friends have zero common interests with their wives other than the kids after many years of marriage.

Sounds like you don't like women who have partners. Are you single and looking to make new friends and they keep talking about their spouses or whatever? If you genuinely want friends then you need to learn to listen to them and understand that not everything is about you.

Yes. I love football. I grew up watching it with my dad. And I love dark beer esp porters and stouts.

Women on this site have said that I'm faking these to get Male attention. They can't believe it is genuine. Why would I make it up on an anonymous website?

Just yesterday I was chatting with a friend who runs her own business about the grant she had applied for and her various plans for scaling up and my plans for advocacy work in involved with and how all the women in our (not overlapping) social circles are doing extraordinary things and are extremely supportive of one another. In fact we also discussed how lovely it was that many of us have young children, various versions of marriage or lack of spouse involvement and different parenting styles and yet we can still turn to one another for advice without judgement. My female friends are a loving safety net against a crazy world.

NP, female. Women/girls can easily make me feel trapped into a “sex and the city” episode. I hate it. There are exceptions.
