Also, anyone else catch that Rue’s full name is Ruby?

Tbh I prefer the more relationship driven plots in the story, and prefer most of the other characters and their backstories. Yes, zendaya gave a great performance of a struggling drug addict and the extremes they will go to. But it felt like an after school special on addiction. if the show had ever been solely about a drug addict, I wouldn’t have gotten this far into it.
Spoiler disclaimer: To me, the best part of the episode was when rue said “Cass, can I ask you a question… how long have you been ****ing Nate Jacobs?” Maddy, Cassie And Lexi’s reactions were priceless.
I can see why people thought the performance in last nights episode was a great one, but it did nothing to further the plot of the million other storylines after last weeks very eventful episode.
This was an eventful episode. There hasn’t been an episode solely focused on the main character, Rue. It’s an episode fans were looking for and it was done very well. While I loved the Cass and Maddie part for the comedy that’s basic high school tv (ie Riverdale, Gossip Girl).
Next week is going to be all about Maddie, Cass and Nate.

OMG I could not disagree more. This was the best episode of the whole series. It was intense and riveting and wow the acting! Just incredible.
+1. PP is the only one in the entire world who didn't like that episode. It was the best one of the season, maybe the whole show. It's not a feel good show PP. It's a show about addiction, maybe it's not right for you.
Totally agree. Everyone was good in the episode and the emotions of the characters. Omg.
