Someone else posted in the Trump women fashion thread that protocol says covered shoulders for these dinners....but Rose is bare-shouldered. Is there a protocol?

For those reading "signs" into everything....Kate is wearing Diana's favorite tiara, which COULD be read to a subtle sign to her husband (what would your mom think about your tom-catting) and a sign to Rose (she's the future queen of england, and rose can jump in the lake).

I very much doubt it because he know how much it hurt his mother and she wouldn't have been invited.

Yep. It took Camilla 40 years to get into formal state banquets...Rose is a smart woman I'll give her that. And more connected than even her rival realizes.

I don't think you get to choose who you walk in with. It's all precedence and decided in advance.

I find it more interesting that Mrs. Steve Mnuchin was in the Lifetime movie about Will and Kate. That seems much more of an awkward situation to me.


I'd argue that Rose Hanbury walking in with a Daily Mail columnist is quite the statement. Not only is Sarah Vine not aristocracy and Rose is, but Rose's title as Marchioness of Cholmondeley assured (at least previously so) that she would walk into State Banquets ABOVE British women titled with only Ms./Mrs or even just Lady.

So WTH happened here? I think Kate tried to put her foot down (again) and Rose knew just how to twist in her thorns being an aristo born to aristocrats.

I don't think that chick is good looking AT ALL. I can't believe she was a model, other than being super thin. Is there a better picture of her?

I think Kate is still cute, although that white dress isn't the best. And the blue dress would be better if it were a different material that didn't resemble curtains.

Someone posted a pic of Kate with lockjaw Mnuchin. She had the "please save me" look on her face.

The Trump people are such an embarrassment. And did you see Dotard's tux? OMG.
