Because we’re working for change. Get it?
Anonymous wrote:If you're still checking this post, OP, I'm very sorry for your pain. I grew up Catholic and was very committed to the church and almost became a nun. After the reports came out about what had happened in Pennsylvania, I couldn't even bring myself to step back in a Catholic Church. Especially with my young daughter. I'd already been having a lot of misgivings about the theology for a few years, so this drove me to finally act on them and leave. I'm Eastern Orthodox now and very happy and at home there.

That is why I always try to go to church with my family https://firstchurchlove.com and spend as much time as possible in prayer. After all, agree that your prayers at home and church are very different because of the atmosphere.

How lame. Jesus is in all the other churches, too. What is not there is a whole hierarchy that protected priests WHO ARE STILL WORKING WITH CHILDREN
.
Episcopal
Southern Baptist
Latter Day Saints
Orthodox Judaism
All have currently serving clergy they protected through systematic coverups.
And secular private schools ( e.g., Horace Mann)
And public schools (e.g., NYC)
And gymnastics
And summer camps
Care to go on?
