Breaking Bad is where I finally figured it out, and how difficult it would actually be unless you were connected with a large crime network to do it for you.

I hope they have a second season of Dead to Me, but I also think it could end as it did. Maybe it should, because there is so much potential to descend into new coverup ridiculousness.

It's a tv show, so you only see snippets of a character's life that pertain to the storyline---unless the premise of the show is an ensemble with multiple storylines.

As such, you won't see the main character grocery shop, shower, get her teeth cleaned, etc. You just need to assume those things are happening.

I "think" Season 2 filming has started! I live in Laguna Beach, and CBS Paramount trucks were parked all over town today. Could be another show, but a girl can hope

I just finished watching the season. I liked it, didn't love it. I wouldn't definitely keep watching because I love the dialogue between Jen and Judy. I'm hoping the gun-loving neighbor gets involved next season with a cover-up for Steve's death. She would be a funny addition to their duo.

On a side note, it's disappointing, but not at all surprising to see so much of this thread devoted to dissecting if the actresses are attractive or have had work done. It's ridiculous and makes you look like assholes.

He wasn't selling them for thousands - he was showing that on the books as part of his money laundering. It's the "layering" stage. Judy knows about the fake art studio front.

It's not a weird question. I wouldn't call it girly at all. Although I'm trying to think if, say, my husband would like it. A lot of what I like about it are the little details, the decor, the fashion, the fact that these 40 something women look like 40 something women. I'm constantly trying to put myself in their shoes: would I EVER jump into a deep friendship so quickly? Would I allow myself to to be vulnerable to the emotional and financial benefits of being such close friends with someone? Would I parent like Jen is parenting after my son lost his dad?

Interestingly, these are the little details. The bigger story isn't girly at all.
