We hire h1bs for software development at 60k.

Do you work at Boeing?

I’ve inherited projects started by these types of developers and the product quality is scary.

Nonprofit, law degree + masters, $78k

Okay, but what type of nonprofit? My understanding is different types of nonprofits pay differently.

Are you priced out by the mortgage or downpayment?

69k at 30. I'm in the right nonprofit role now that I can jump ship to private sector in a few years. My goal is to break 100k by the time I'm 40.

I’m 39, in non profit, a program manager and make $78K. It’s depressing how low my salary is after working for so many years and I have a Master degree as well. I would get out of non profit, OP. I should have years ago but didn’t. Now I feel trapped.
