U15 ranks 6th out 8th in division. U16 and above are ranked in last place since they don't exist. (U13 is a pilot program, not sure it counts in DA rankings.) Bottom half of clubs are tier 2.

FCV parent should be cautious in touting DA v ECNL. It's a matter of time before FCV rejoins ECNL.

You don't need to be insane to think a club chooses ECNL over DA. Loudoun and VDA are the local clubs that did. Here are some examples from elsewhere of clubs that choose ECNL over DA.

Fake news. Why would US Soccer give Loudoun a DA spot given a DA right next door with two others within 20 miles? Not to mention Loudoun doesn't exactly play the way US Soccer wants clubs to play.

The were turned down for DA two years ago and were forced into the partnership with FCV. Far predates this fake news "source."

They wanted DA and couldn't get it. They settled for ECNL because they needed an elite platform. They were dumped from boys DA this year due to the u12 age group drop and were forced into "all-in" ECNL.
