You do tend to get a lot of "but what are you going
to do?" I remember when my mom retired and people were astounded that she didn't have a plan. No plan to work PT, no plan to travel the world, no plan to volunteer. She just wanted to, after working 43 years, do NOTHING. Or figure it out as it came.
I'm 52 and plan to retire at 62. AND DO NOTHING.
