superficial beauty is meaningless

It's not ridicule really.
I'm just always curious as to why Anon Poster must self-praise. It's not as though your looks will be captured by Cosmo on its cover. So w/o seeing your face, there's nothing to be used as a comparison.
FWIW, I think she looks good. I think she's a moron, however, and there are now tons of memes making fun of her. So was it worth it? She lost Hallmark. Her ditz of a daughter will soon be kicked out. Her squeaky clean reputation is soiled.
But . . . at this point, looks don't matter much, eh?
Certainly you can't compare, nor would I ever post my picture here. My point is that many DMV women are better looking than her, and most of us are not stunning either.

+1
Faust
-1
Wilde.
showing our literary prowess, are we? and yes, it's Wilde.
Not showing off but I’m from Ireland and couldn’t let that stand uncorrected.
OK - Maybe there's a cultural misunderstanding b/c I was not incorrect.
I am the Faust poster. I signed it AS Faust as a way to congratulate the PP's clever response. The allusion to The Picture of Dorian Gray (by Wilde) was indeed an appropriate response. Faust, too, was very appropriate in this case, as he sold his soul to the devil just as Lori did.
I want my +1 back.
NP here. I knew what you meant, original Faust poster. Two good literary references made right there: portrait, and Faust.
You get an A+ and a +1 for your in-depth understanding.
