Has someone visited Colorado- Boulder or Colorado State? I am familiar with the previous threads on pot, rich kids and skiing. If someone can contribute beyond those topics, TIA

My numbers are not wrong because you cant't read. I told you I excluded certain fees (personal, book, travel) but you included them. Let us try this gain.
Tuition 20,434
Fees 2,970
Housing 6,720
Dining 5,230
Subtotal 35,354 (my total)
Books 1,384
Personal 2,552
Loan Fees 72
Travel 410
Total 39,772 (your total)
Are we clear now?

Students enrolled in the Robert H. Smith School of Business, the A. James Clark School of Engineering or who are declared majors in the Department of Computer Science will be charged differential tuition.
The breakdown of differential tuition charges for the 2018-2019 academic year is as follows:
Full-time: $2,800 or $1,400 per semester
Part-time: $116 per credit

Wrong. https://admissions.umd.edu/finance/differential-tuition
$2800 per semester is not that big of difference for UMD. Still a value.
Agreed.

As someone else posted, UVA tuition is $40K per year in 2019-2020 for engineering. High stats kids can get merit aid OOS. UVA gives very little to no merit aid.
For in-state??????![]()

How did you choose room cost? My DC is at Purdue and the cost of the dorms changes dramatically based on which dorm.

What that means is that prices are rising. When this year's first years are second years, they won't be paying less than they are currently.
