You are a jerk nd you are doing a disservice to your kid, because other parents are going to see that you are a jerk and will steer their kids away from associating with yours. Also you are an incompetent parent if you can't remember headphones or can't figure out how to entertain you kid without a screen.
Are you always this miserable?

What are his special needs that require him to watch videos without headphones. You make things worse for parents who actually have children with special
Needs
In this case, I think his disability was being born to a dim-witted and mannerless parent. In high school it won’t hold him back too much, but he will probably suffer for it in his career (and adult dating life), because being raised by clodhoppers does tend to impact one’s social skills.

Somehow I really doubt that the orthodontist told you that your 2 year old needs to be there.

Hahaha
This is actually a great idea!
Except I would turn the sound on. If the parents complied I would say, I’m happy to turn off my sound if you turn off yours. Big smile. If they say no, I would turn up my volume even more.

No, he is not more important than me, or anybody else. You are breathtakingly selfish.
You are having a hissy fit because you can't let a disabled child have some screentime because you can't be bothered to hear some music. Yeah, I'm the selfish one.
Whatever. You are going to have a long life being constantly offended by the tiniest thing. For me I was just trying to get from point A to point B and have my child not scream. Because you wouldn't have liked that either, amiright?
If your kid wears them now and is “popular” then he didn’t have any special
Need as a child requiring him to listen without headphones. You sound like a total bitch.
