New poster here, yeah, I’m pretty unforgiving about people spending time with their kids but leaving a sleeping child with their aunt seems pretty reasonable and a sensible way to fit in a Sat night date. Plenty of other opportunities for OP to see if he seems to be shirking responsibilities.

No I meant if the date had come upstairs after the dad relieved the babysitter

My XH is perfectly capable of protecting our daughter from his date, if she came to his place.

Guys we were at my place, not his! I would never feel comfortable going into a guys house when his kid was asleep and hooking up on the fourth date! And his baby sitter was his sister, so the kid was still with family. But I do kinda agree about he should be seeing dates on the nights he doesn't have custody. At the same time, I feel like it's nice he balanced seeing me after his kid was asleep.
