Same! And after watching it, I disagree with what's been said here about LL coming off as pathetic. She comes off as having moved on from acting. This show is basically Below Deck meets Real World meets The Apprentice but filmed in a gorgeous Greek Island. I won't be surprised if its a hit. I liked it.

She was a nightmare to work with. Your talent doesn't matter if the movie can't get made because you've locked yourself into your trailer and won't come out. Hollywood has some leeway for that, but eventually they turn on you. There are lots of fresh pretty faces in the world who will show up on time.
+1 She also only had 2 good movies, 1 done as a child, before her spiral. I don’t think that was enough of a career for most producers to point to as her being worth waiting to get her life together. She also took herself out of the scene and moved overseas. Maybe if she did attenptna major comeback now people would give her a chance?
This. Her career wasn't REALLY all that amazing. One of her movies is kind of iconic and very well known but its still not like she was making film after film. What I couldn't believe is how terrible she looked. She looked liker really really bad. Her make up was terrible and her skin is like rubber. I couldn't believe they didn't have better make up and lighting for her. Makes me wonder if its a shoe string budget.
Anonymous wrote:I agree that she was once a huge acting talent when she was younger.
But her off-camera behavior really turned many people off to her which is likely why she cannot find decent acting work now.
It’s tough for a celebrity to make a full comeback as it is.
She has been “gone” for a large amount of time.
Her chance to be a respected Hollywood actress is probably nil already.![]()
However she still is a major figure in our pop culture.
And that isn’t necessarily a bad place to be.

I don't know why, but I just feel so badly for this girl that she has basically tanked her life and career to the point where she is THIS desperate. Like girl...whoever is advising you to do a show like this and filling your head with thoughts that THIS could be a way to revive your lost would-be showbiz career is steering you SO wrong. UGH!
I mourn for the talent she used to have...and long for what could have been.
She was PERFECTION in Mean Girls. And literally every other girl who starred alongside her in that movie has gone on to amazing things.
What do you think? Will she EVER come back???
I wouldn't say Lacey Chabert has gone on to "do amazing things" unless you mean Part of 5 when she was like 10. And Rachel McAdams was already the bomb before mean girls. And I haven't seen Janice Ian around either.

Do you really think that it is common to be an escort in the movie / music industry?
Yes. It’s similar to why so many willing go to the casting couch. Fame and fortune is all that matters, doesn’t matter what part of your body you offer up.
Any actual proof of this, or is this just more stating opinion as fact?
As someone who has worked in the industry for 20+ years - yes, this does in fact happen. Rarely with A list, but for those actresses/singers/musicians who don't really make it, how do you think they pay their bills? Maybe it's not "escort" in the traditional sense, but they hook up with rich/older men to support them.
Actually, when I really think about it, there are several A-list types who made it because of who they slept with. Do you think Mariah Carey just fell in love with Tommy Mottola? Google the photo of Renee Zellweger with her hand on Harvey Weinstein's leg during a movie premiere Q&A. You don't think she got all those juicy roles because she's a good actress and is attractive?
They are just a half-step above escorts.
So, different from being an escort. That's what I was asking, thanks.
