YES. Enough with the mixed-use aisles. Everything should be in its own section. The home goods area is such a mess - they think it's somehow cute or clever to combine things, making it impossible to find what you're looking for. It was so much better when blankets were in the blanket aisle and picture frames were in the frames aisle.

OMG, I am so glad you said this!!! I thought it was just me and almost had a heart attack after seeing how horrific I looked in that camera.

I was trying to find hand soap and I never did find it. I found the high-end environmental brand that Target stocks (can't remember the name at the moment), but couldn't find the cheap Up-Up or Dial or whatever. I finally did find the bulk refill soap container back in the place where they put the seasonal stuff and at this time of year is all the stock-up items.
I was also looking for salt and pepper shakers. I never did find the simple glass ones.
I did notice that this store had music going, which I am happy about.
The store was busier than ever so I think we will all adapt and Target may have to tweak things a bit based on feedback. I do think the grocery section is a lot better now. They just need to work on the rest a bit.

I'm plus size and I hate it.
It means I have to shuffle through all the other sizes and all over the store looking for mine. And, it obviously irritates the smaller sized people as well, because there end up being too many sizes on one rack.
Anonymous wrote:The Target closest and most convenient to me is in Columbia Heights, DC (the only one in DC proper or is the one in Cleveland Park open yet?). That one is always well stocked but is so busy and in such disarray that it looks like Saigon after the fall. I'm surprised there's not a goat running around in there. ANY "design" would be better than what it's like now. And the lines are INSANE. I feel bad for the workers. That store is clearly understaffed. The pharmacy workers are very efficient and friendly, however.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Why are lunchboxes in sporting goods, Bento boxes in with Tupperware and thermoses in housewares? Nonsensical.
OMG Yes. Except my Target ( Silver Spring) has some Thermos's with the lunchboxes in the sporting section and some with the cutlery in the kitchen section.

OP here. I go to both the Reston and Sterling stores.
As plenty of
People have said throughout the thread: Burke, Sterling, Reston. Leesburg as well. Gaithersburg is coming. Southern California chimed in. If your store isn't remodeled yet, just wait, it's coming. The remodel itself was infuriating because they did it all during store hours and it was a disaster as things were temporarily moved and in the most preposterous locations.
The remodel also seems to have left little room for actual stock so the selection is worse than it used to be. I don't think I was able to buy a single thing for my kids there at Christmas- just no selection. Tiny little tables and mini racks at weird angles everywhere cluttered with crap that don't allow your buggy to move through. It really is not user friendly at all.

I used to pick up a few pieces here and there but now when I’m browsing, everything I pick up seems to be a plus size! So I just gave up because it was all mixed up, no organization or signage, etc.
I think this is more a matter of "regular" sizes getting sold out really quickly. If you wear a medium in women's clothing, good luck finding anything worth looking at in your size.
That I would expect but it’s specific plus size brands that are EVERYWHERE. They have several now and there appears to be more racks assigned to those brands than other, regular sized brands. But maybe that’s just my perception!
