Someone above asked, “Are you saying Palchik didn't look out for LJ and Falls Church?” ThAts what I answered. You make a good point however and for the love of everything AAP related, don’t keep posting about your stupid home value in The aap forum. Please.
Who are you talking to? It sounds like you’ve lost your marbles. Several posters have observed that Palchik hasn’t been looking out for the schools in her district. LJ is in her district and has a declining AAP program.
That’s all on topic, unlike your repeated references to real estate, which you should take somewhere else.

How do you know the LJ Aap is "declining?" Do you have actual numbets or other criteria that says it is losing quality or numbers?

Great job, Pat Hynes and Dalia Palchik!
Give it a rest, lady. You don’t have a kid at these schools. You have a home in the lj school district and are worried about your home value. Please disclose that when you post these ridiculous, histrionic, exaggerative, bursts.
Why should she be worried about her home value if Palchik did a good job with the redistricting? Are you saying Palchik didn't look out for LJ and Falls Church?
Anonymous wrote:I looked at the CIP and confirmed Thoreau is projected to be the most overcrowded middle school, even after the recent renovation. That certainly sounds like poor planning. They had an over-crowded middle school before and now they’ll just have a different overcrowded school.

I’m saying all her posts belong in a real estate forum. To post on this board on and on and on with zero knowledge about lj’s Teachers, admin, crowding, education, etc. in response to people asking about the dictation at lj is dumb and unhelpful. The point was to take one overcrowded school and move some kids to an undercrowded school. That was done. Now lj is less crowded and th is still under capacity. It’s a great solution that solved a problem. If she insists on posting anyway, she she say: I have no kid at lj but live in that district and think the rezoning will make my property value go down. Instead, she tries to diss the education at lj with no basis in fact but presents it as if it is fact. That’s what I object to.
If you asked for a review of a dr would you want someone giving you a review without clarifying it (I’ve mever been there myself by my neighbor said... etc) or would you want someone who doesn’t go to the practice and has never been to the practice to say “they are going downhill and are inferior” in response to you asking for info about them?

Palchik has no business running for the Board of Supervisors. She totally mismanaged literally the only thing that was squarely within her responsibility as a School Board member.
