Online directory for the Vermont Agency of Education lists 140 names:

And they (VT) have roughly the same statutory responsibility, minus responsibility for transportation for students with disabilities that OSSE has.

Citation? I find 400 FTEs hard to imagine.

And the reason you will find yourse appearing in person is because no one ever answers the phone!Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:OSSE is over grown and bloated. Will the council approve him after the last debacle?
Grosso is already hinting that this isn't a done deal. Hearing will be in January. Mandy better hang tight.
Ferebee is essentially Antwan 2.0. Who was basically the Anti-Kaya. Coincidence?
+young black man (EMOC and such), won't draw attention from Muriel
+outsider, no personal connections or influence with local deep pockets
+mayoral control novice, won't question crazy governance model
+charter friendly, but this ain't Indy. Charter sector more independent and powerful
+parent of a high school student. Said his kid will go to neighborhood school or (DCPS) lottery. Sorry Walls and Ellington
In summary, young, black and unaccomplished.
Yess, mission accomplished.
I wouldn’t say he is unaccomplished. At least from the Indiana newspaper articles I read, he got more funding in place for the schools.
That means nothing.
What matters is, how much did the overall results improve under his tenure? What reforms did he implement to help things get better for the next 5-10 years?
Really? More money to schools means nothing? How do you think reforms work? The funding has to be in place first. Otherwise you get empty promises.
Lady, on a per capita basis DCPS already has money that any other comparable system.
We don't need more money. We need to stop flushing it down the toilet.
