Agree--Not to mention the huge chasm in name recognition, plus who in their right mind would choose Podunk Indiana over DC (and all the attendant clerkship opportunities, cultural activities, food, and proximity to similar opportunities)? Not even a gray area.

I’m not a fan of ND but the GU campus is a dump and ND offers a very unique , close college experience to their students.
Indiana does suck but the school is fabulous.
Also, ND is ranked 18 & Georgetown 22. Hmmmm:

This. The Jews go to BU, not BC.
My good friend who is Jewish went to BC and loved it. Their sibling went to BU and hated it. Yes BU is more Jewish but that does not mean Jewish students are not happy at BC.

I know a family from DC who sent their son to BU to meet and marry a rich girl.
BU and BC are not the same school.

Why do you feel the need to bash a school just because it is a poor fit for your kid? My DS loved BC, but he hated BU. Every kid has their preferences and list of things they want in a school. Clearly BC is not the right fit for your kid. Frankly, we like the fact that there are so many Catholic markers around the school. For DS it gave him comfort. Sorry you can't find that in a school because there are no Jewish schools. Perhaps there is some jealousy on your part that there is no school designated for your particular faith?
Whoa. That was really nasty. And reflective of a very insular worldview, as in fact there are lots of schools in the US with a large Jewish cultural tradition and student presence: Brandeis, Tufts, Tulane, Emory, Duke (and those are just the ones that come to mind off the top of my head). Just as there are lots of schools with Presbyterian, Methodist, or Quaker roots.

I have a child currently at BC..several of her friends have scholarships, participate in a work-study program or have some sort of financial aid. Several of her friends are pretty wealthy. I have a child who graduated from ND...most of his friends are the former- a few, the latter. Notre Dame probably has more money overall to fund the "not rich kids', but neither school community seemed to care about the family finances all that much. Maybe it's the Catholic thing...just not showy people, in general.
