I don't hide bottles but if I did I would hide them in my dresser drawer covered by clothes or possibly on the upper shelf in my closet possibly in a shoe box or something like that. Basically anywhere that I thought you wouldn't go - like the linen closet tablecloth shelf or maybe in a bag of craft supplies.

Whether you're OP or not -- Whoever you are, have you confronted your wife about the drinking you [u]know[/u] she is doing?

If you haven't confronted--why not?

Do you have children? If you do: You must confront because if they are in the car when she has that accident, they too may die. And if you let her go on driving them, or anyone at all, knowing she may be drunk, how could you live with yourself?
Confront, tell her getting help is non-negotiable, and take her damn keys. She will kill someone ELSE who is innocently driving down the road. She won't accept help? Leave. Take the kids if you have them.

I have confronted her. She is in total denial. Of course I am concerned about drunk driving.

If my DW was doing this, I would give her an ultimatium - rehab or divorce. I am sorry so many posters are dealing with these issues.

My husband buys 8 packs of those mini vodka bottles. I have found them hidden in the trunk of his car, in the back car seat pockets, under dirty laundry, in his jacket pockets. He throws them in the regular trash, but obviously not soon enough.
