St. Stephen's has one of the best LSMs in the country, committed to Virginia (along several other very strong players). He is a game changer. First team all IAC as a freshman and sophomore.

Bullis has a group of talented soph’s as well. I think the core of the the ‘21 DC Express team that dominated the summer tourney circuit last year. IL calls out Hughes and Kuehll as standouts. Landon won’t be 3rd...they also have plenty of young talent and Healy and young Bordley have been disciples of Rob Bordley going back to their playing days. I think we see these two teams back in championship come May.

Are there any true superstars in the IAC this year (thinking like the kids from Landon and EHS, who graduated, and the kid from Bullis who transferred back to his old school). Or is it just the regular pool of talented, even extremely talented players, but no breakout stars.

I agree that EHS may be better this year than last, but to say their entire roster is back is a gross overstatement. Miezan is a huge loss.

SSSAS may struggle for consistency but could surprise in some games. The FOGO is a huge difference maker.

Landon will be in rebuilding mode and adjusting to a new HC. But it's Landon and its lacrosse. Those Bears will claw there way to an excellent season. I predict second in the iac.

Bullis had a talent drain and the coaching drama has not helped with team cohesion. Prediction - 3rd.

EHS has been a one-man show for 4 years. Without that one-man, they will need to learn to play as a team. Prediction - iac cellar.

SSSA lost their entire goalie crew and a sterling senior class. Rebuilding year. Will fight ehs to avoid being last.

St Albans graduated their best defenders and spark plugs at mid and attack. Enough senior talent and maturing junior and sophomore talent to fill that void. Plus a stud fogo should help with possessions. But the best St. Albans does is 4th, and could end up rock bottom if a corps of defenseman is not developed.

Not a Prep boaster. Just calling it like I see it. Prep is loaded with talent. kids played with confidence in off-season play. HC has settled in. And if those dc express dudes are now assistant coaches, anything less than a top national ranking will be a disappointment.

No way Prep wins. LOL. More tears at Congressional.

Predictions for 2019?

Saint Andrews takes home the MAC banner again, look for this program to continue to rise.
Gonzaga runs through the WCAC unscathed, both St Johns and Paul VI are in rebuilding years.
Prep finally wins their first IAC Banner in the Post Giblin era.
Churchill once again refuses to play any local private schools and will fall in the MD Public schools state playoffs.
