Ummm, the game is called “snakes and ladders”.


I am from Montreal and we used both terms. Chute is slide in French.

Ditto. I'm 45 and from CA. The only term we ever used was slides.

I call it a slide now, but growing up in southeast Virginia, it was a sliding board. Age 40.
