And not only did she graduate first in the class and with a perfect GPA, which might happen once or twice in a decade at Notre Dame, she got the award for the best exam in every single one of her first year classes except for one and nine times overall -- in other words, not just an A in those classes but the very best exam in them. That's pretty extraordinary no matter where one goes to law school, and Notre Dame is a pretty good law school.
Coney Barrett also is not a wacko. Yes, she's conservative and Catholic and a true believer, but she's most definitely not a wacko. She is extremely well regarded by those who know her personally, liberals and conservatives alike.
They give awards for exams? How odd.
Cali awards! But they are not that exciting. I got a bunch and I am no genius (also got a full scholarship to law school at a better school than ND). These things are not proof that ACB will be a good justice.
Well, then, you are a shoo-in to the Supreme Court, aren't you?
Probably not. I am not a member of some weirdo religious group that I try to keep secret.

Roe v Wade simply says the individual has the choice how to manage her body.
if Roe v Wade is overturned, a state could dictate that a baby be carried to term. Or it could dictate that a fetus be aborted.
It cuts both ways.
It also means that someone else could choose how you give birth. If an anti-choice politician thinks you should have no epidural so that you can feel the full punishment of Eve’s curse, the Supreme Court won’t be able to stop them. If some Catholic nutcase - like Barrett for example - thinks birth control should be outlawed, they’ll find the “legal” argument for that, too.
Where are you getting that line of thinking?

No one said they were exciting. But for the same anonymous student to have virtually every one of her first year exams selected as the best in the class is impressive.
I also don’t believe you got a full ride to a better law school and got a bunch of those awards. At least with Coney Barrett it is verifiable.

We had a woman like that in our class in law school. Third year she totally lost it and her ex-boyfriend took out a restraining order on her because she was obsessively stalking him.
Barrett is a wacko because she belongs to People of Praise, a group described as a "Charismatic Christian Cult". She was not forthcoming about her membership in the group and so wasn't asked about it at her hearing when she was nominated for the Court of Appeals. I don't think she'll be Trump's nominee because it's sure to come up at her hearing for the Supreme Court. And even though Trump pretends to be all Christian, as a classic NY liberal he'll think she's wacko too and wouldn't want her as his legacy.

I think some people adopt because they want to look like they care, not because they actually care.
she's also a horrible mother. I met her personally when my child was in an activity with her son and she opening berated him.
