We say, "Hi ladies" in work emails when no guys are included.

Nights when I work late on a client deadline, she still expects me to get up to make her coffee, even if the kids don't have school and I'm exhausted. If I don't she makes sure to make as much noise as possible so that I know she's mad.
It would never occur to her to bring me coffee or anything else.

It’s gonna take more than coffee to make up for some short comings.

You can't just leave it on her nightstand like mine does? It's the sweetest thing to wake up to!
wouldn't it be stone cold? I would rather he leave the pot on so there is a nice hot cup if I were the type to want this.
Yeah, this. "Hey, honey, here's something else for you to do this morning - carry this full cup of cold coffee downstairs to reheat. Have a good day!"
Moreover, OP, your post and attitude about this remind me of the facebook posters who incessantly proclaim how great their partners and marriages are. It's pretty clear they are overcompensating, and it's pretty clear you are trying to convince yourself that you are happy and have a great marriage. I hope it works out for you.
Wow, projecting much? A lot of Bitter Bettys on this thread. No wonder your DH's don't do sh*t for you. They get zero credit or gratitude for the small, thoughtful acts.

My husband does this too. I am very appreciative of it

He comes home from work with milk or other staples “because I noticed we were running low”. He throws a load of wash in “becuase the hamper was full”. He powers through colds and back pain like a mom would.
You don’t have to put up with bumbling, incompetent men. There are men out there who are observant, capable and responsible adults who don’t have to be nagged to be contributing members of the household.
Oh yeah, he also makes coffee every morning.
How do I raise one of these. My ex husband is almost 60 and still ears Lean Cuisine for dinner. I fear fo my son's future.
