That's an awesome clip, so much fun!! I always like Laura Dern's performances. She had no regrets playing the role with Ellen in the coming out episode in the 90s. She was threatened over that one episode and was blacklisted for a long time. She rose above it and helped break ground for others.

She's average looking, neither beautiful nor homely. However, she is a fantastic actress and she has a wonderful personality, which combines to make her much more charismatic than average. So those who base their judgements primarily on looks will not find her "pretty". But those who factor in looks, personality, emotions and likeability into their evaluations will find her "pretty". Since what we find attractive varies from person to person, you will find a spectrum of answers, as this thread has shown.

She’d probably be one of the most beautiful women in your friend group, neighborhood, or office. But she’s in Hollywood so she looks average or below average.
