Not PP but I think he/she is saying you could hear the noises of racking up the balls and shooting pool when there was nothing up there.

Sure. Unless (as a pp said) it was some sort of notorious incident where the public was routinely seeking out the house.

But otherwise, yes I would.

My boyfriend bought a house where someone was killed and another committed suicide (same incident and fairly recent). He moved in with his family and there is lots of love and there is absolutely no feeling of dread or paranormal activity. It is a lovely family home.

I rented a house where prior owner committed suicide on third floor while shooting pool and drinking Johnny Walker. Shot himself in head. Once a week he rack up the balls and shoot pool. But nothing was up there. I liked it

I know of two houses that had rooms that couldn’t used because of paranormal activity. One was my childhood home. The other was the house a friend rented after her divorce. In both cases, the spaces were bedrooms that could not be slept in. They were used purely for storage although it meant kids doubling or tripling up. Both produced a sense of heavy dread and depression that grew unbearable at night. I didn’t even like to walk past ours at night. My friends’ kids used to see how long they or unsuspecting visiting friends could stand being in the room. The record after dark was a couple of minutes and that kid refused to step in their house again period.

Suicide would bother me more than murder. I’ve always felt uneasy in a campus building where a suicide occurred.

In a convo on FB right now with a person who is attempting to buy a 2016 murder house. Big discount, everyone in the group is excited for them.

No. I wouldn't be able to stop thinking about it and it would just be too depressing. In my old house, my kids saw ghosts and my step daughter's boyfriend saw a ghost. I've seen nothing and am 99% on the non-believer side but that 1% keeps me from doing something like buying a house someone was murdered in.

That list of death houses in Fairfax County is equally fascinating and depressing as I know one of the murders on the list (student of mine) and my husband knows one of the others (former next door neighbor).
