OP (again) - I am a transplanted Ohioan, too. It has made it very easy to visit the Ohio schools.
Funny enough, I know very little about Hiram (other than when I was a kid the Browns used to do summer practice there. I think. ). DD is getting a lot of unsolicited mail from Hiram.
Isn't that also where the buzzards return to roost every year?

Miami of Ohio is also popular as someone mentioned -- a lot of kids from this area are starting to go there -- Visi always has several for example -- Holton did too this past year.

How about Goucher in Maryland, Connecticut College, Longwood College in Farmville, VA or Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, VA? It really shouldn't be too too hard to get into some of the midwestern schools from VA - you have some geographic diversity.
Haverford is in Pennsylvania near Philadelphia. I have heard good things about Earlham. I have heard that Longwood can be a terrible situation -- that the town is still pretty much segregated and the school is "so-so" at best.
