Tryout attendance was very weak. I was shocked. Probably why not are not posting the rosters even though they said they would last week.

We are hoping a lot of returning players show up at the other tryout, but we are nervous.

Most of the most successful kids on my son's club are the most humble people you meet. Great kids too, both on the field and in the classroom.

Yes, 9 times out of 10 my son's AA club will beat your A level club. It will have more quality commits (i.e. D1) than your club, and empirically it will have the best players in the area based on any points measure you want to use to gauge success.

Basically, you're coming across as a parent who is upset cause their son isn't good enough to make a quality club. Sorry. Tell them to work harder. End of story.

This is what we've found too at 2 of the top 3 clubs we've been involved with. Plus very few if any parents that played lacrosse when they were young. Most of the kids we know with lax-playing dads didn't continue at the HS level for various reasons - size, burnout from over zealous lax dads and so on.

Well, it is your opinion. Decent is also a pretty broad spectrum - but yes, the boys are decent. Are they considered a top level program in the area? I would say no. They've got a nice facility and equip the kids with some nice gear. Ricky is a great guy and is an ambassador for the game.

As for being a "lax bro" ... if that means being one of the best players in Loudoun, then yes those kids on Madlax, VLC and Blackwolf are guilty.

Please quantify how an Evergreen 2020 has less of a laxbro quotient than Madlax, VLC or BW? Because they have zero private school kids on the roster? Because they would lost to any of those clubs by double digits? Because none of them will be college commits?
