You want your kid given a shit ton of candy so that they can be obese like the majority of the country?
You want your kid given a shit ton of candy so that they can be obese like Donald Trump?

Trump is different. No one batted an eye if you were a Dem and went to the Easter Egg Hunt when Bush was President. Now, it's almost like you might catch something. Gross.

I dont like Trump but it's over the top anymore with the constant vitriol. The guy could cure cancer and people would say it's not enough. I didnt like Obama either but if I had tickets to the egg roll my kids would have been there. What a cool experience regardless of who was president at the time. Also, I don't think people will really care in 25 years as much as they do now about Trump.
This is OP. I'm going for a lot of the reasons you describe. I also feel like the path forward for the country is in embracing non partisan events as times to come together.
But I hate that line about curing cancer. He's a terrible person who has done terrible things. If he cures cancer that is still true. Then he'll just be a terrible person who has done terrible things and one really good thing. And likely will continue on being a mean narcissistic bully afterwards.
