Miss Wishy Washy is back at it again!

Wishy-Washy and a master of alternative facts. Claiming she secured any funding to improve schools is laughable. Her multi-million dollar dog park is about to cost our schools in long overdue and much needed repairs and improvements when she goes back into DGS's Capital Funds for more $ since the property she wants to buy appraised far above the 1.5 million. All this money just two blocks from an underfunded, high needs school which can't even get money to repair tiles.

Boyd also seems to own the Washington Post. He has had more letters to the editor printed than anyone I know of. He posted a letter about Rhee that he wrote in 2009.

Check out his Twitter Beltway Greg Boyd. If you send him an email he'll answer you promptly. I'd love to see him on the council.

Greg Boyd is great. He won't be on the ballot until November 6. Until then, he is vocal on Twitter that he supports Kent Boese in the DC primaries on June 19th (or before with early voting).

My friend lived in an apartment building that received a multi-million dollar tax abatement. Just like the Line Hotel, the building wasn't living up to it's end of the bargain. I informed Brianne Nadeau about it and she sent me the political equivalent of "thoughts and prayers". She touts affordable housing but doesn't actually care once the photo op is done.

Someone needs to tell her campaign that it’s unlawful to put campaign materials in mail slots.

Someone needs to tell her it’s a bad idea to label her neighbors as racist.

I like Allen. He tries to stake out a position that addresses real concerns in a practical way without freaking out the gentrifiers. That's really important.

HAHAHAHAHA!

He will do anything to stay in power, such as collect favors at the expense of ward 6. He’s corrupt AND useless. Thanks for the meth clinics Charles!

Oh and thanks for making sure Capitol Hill stays a speedway for Maryland.

Ian and Lisa,

You’re pretty desperate and pathetic.

Thanks for the 7/11s no one wanted.

Thanks for doing nothing to help ward 6 schools (like you explicitly promised).

You are useless and everyone I know in ward 6 laughs at your incompetence. Hopefully they’ll remember that when they vote.

Boese is looking good heading into the final weeks of the Ward #1 campaign. The problem? The democratic field is crowded. The two other candidates Reid and Parker, are no where near as qualified as Boese and really don't have a chance, but they'll take enough votes from Boese and guarantee Nadeau the victory.

The jobs issue? Small change when you look at the campaign donations in the district.

I'm.a ward 3 resident who is not a fan. Agree there are other councmembers who sound far worse, but my vote will not impact them and vice versa. If pretty much anyone ran against her, I'd vote her out.
Another thing I question is why council members are allowed to hold two jobs - their "day job" and council member. This is not typical in other cities. Is being a fully paid council member considered a part time job? Is DC so sleepy with so few issues to address that council members can split their focus?

I think this is an excellent question.

I've followed Kent boese for years online, first as just a neighborhood historian, to ANC mebber to now council candidate

Don't know about the other candidate, but Boese would do a great job and would never mail it in like Nadeau
