If you can get them in the habit of using the toilet and having a BM in the morning that’s the best thing to do.

What is going on with your ass? I use 3-4 squares. Four is the max.
When people don't digest foods properly because their gut (and body more generally) is messed up, their poop tends to be pasty and stick to everything. I assume that's what PP is referring to. Unfortunately, most people on this site seem to know nothing about nutrition and think that things like gut function are "woo woo", so they'll just keep on using a roll of toilet paper per poop.
Oh God! This is so nasty. These people with poor gut health also keep doing stinky fart and they have terrible body odor too.

- 2 ounces of Celery juice also in the morning can help train the bowels.
- Shift to a largely plant based, fiber rich, veggie and fruit heavy diet
- Improve your gut biome by eating plain yogurt, kefir, kimchi, kombucha etc
- Take dose of Triphala every day. Available in WF
- Hyderate well
- Use a squatty potty

I am really shocked to know that regular bowel habits in small children is not established in this culture by the parents. But then this is also a culture where 4-5 year old are wearing pull-ups. LOL

All three of my teens tell me the exact same- Never at school. We don’t discuss it beyond that.

How many times a day does he typically have a BM? Agree with previous posters, try to get him to use the toilet in the morning, give him lots of praise when he does it. Positive reinforcement and rewards are great motivators.

What planet do you live on that this is a viable solution? It’s not unless there is some medical need for it. Figure out a routine like the million other teens in the US have.

It's kind of crazy to me that you just can't possibly make time in the morning routine, but think it's okay to take away from class time.
I think a solution could be to talk to the school nurse to do his business there.
My kid goes when they get home at 3:00 p.m. everyday.

What class is after lunch? Avoiding that class, perhaps. For ex., if a kid doesn't like math, they may try to use during that class "math avoidance"
