We all know the only thing "the man" likes better than keeping women down is money. If they could squeeze out 23% extra profit, male unemployment would skyrocket over night.

What do you think if a woman says she isn't a feminist?
How much does it matter what political stance she has?
Liberal who isn't a feminist or conservative who isn't a feminist or liberal who is a feminist or conservative who is a feminist?
What are your immediate reactions?

Nailed it
Third thought---how much of a pain in this ass will this woman be

And this is coming from being raised in a Muslim family, where my Muslim father was a solid equality supporting feminist, who understood and denounced the fact that women & girls were treated unfairly (even in the US), and regularly got the short end of the stick much too often - and usually as the default.
If you're a man and not a feminist, I'm going to assume you have some deep insecurity/value issues that step much further than gender issues, and stay far away from you.

Immediate reaction is that she's either clueless or a demagogue.
Then, when the check arrives, I ask her if she's planning to cover it full or better half half.
Wow! I don't think you go on many second dates. If you invited me to a date, than you pay. If I invited you than I pay. It is pretty simple. You shouldn't use feminism to be a cheap bastard.
Dated very well and happily married, sweetie![]()
A real feminist doesn't believe in all that traditional and sexist dating nonsense, so this is a great way to put them to the test.
Wait, did I miss out on some kind of guidebook on how to be a "real" feminist? Am I now disqualified from feminism for dating?
Of course not!
You are only disqualified from being a feminist if, in practice, you expect the guy to pay most of the time.
In my experience this is a common expectation in the US and one that would horrify European women -- perhaps that's why they have so many women Prime Ministers there, I just thought of five in five seconds!
If the person who invites me on a DATE, than yes I expect him or her to pay unless we made it clear from the beginning that we are going dutch. If I invited a man or woman to do something than I would pay. Also, you really don't know how happily you are married, pp. You spouse may not be and too afraid to tell you, Sweetie!

My first spoken response: "how do you feel about alimony?"
Also, “are you going to pay half of the bill tonight and for your own Uber?”
Women have two mentalities/stages in their lives that they vacillate between (and is why they innately cannot be happy and truly love a man):
Wanting things done TO them and Wanting things done FOR them.
Feminists are confused between the two and tend to be angry until they figure this out.
