07:30 here. So maybe the fretting and postal conjecture paid off? DD just found out she got into Blair Magnet, Blair CAP, RMIB, Wheaton Eng & Wheaton Biomed. Yahoo!

Both Blairs & RM came in a manila envelope (Blairs were thinner w/ $1.21 postage, RM was THICK w/ $2+ postage). Wheatons came in a white business sized envelope (I'll admit that I held them up to the light and say the words "Notice of Intent" which told me it was good news before DD was home to open it)!

Thrilled for my girl but also for waitlisted friends. If you are waitlisted -- send in whatever info/references you've got to sweeten the pot. Places will open up!!!

The CAP coordinator at Blair is providing scores upon request. It’d be interesting to see what the scores of accepted students were.

Accepted at RM and Blair CAP. Both arrived in large envelopes with additional paperwork. Scores were not provided with either packet.

Global - Math 87, English 85.
SMCS - Math 91, English 85.
Pay attention this is Median, not Mean. So you have kids above and below.
Also they also used essay, application, recommendations and many more characteristics.

Is the Blair SMACS and Humanities scores much different than PHS?


+1 I'm also interested in seeing RM median scores-I assume the median is of accepted students.

Sorry. What I meant was, people who got accepted to both RM and Blair, will hopefully choose Blair.

Acceptance from RMIB in brown manila folder. No information about the median scores. Acceptance from PHS, in a white envelope, admitted to SMACS, Global and Humanities. No information about the median scores.
