These have to be Revlon-bots on this thread. This hair dryer is heavy and cumbersome to use, fried my hair, and didn’t cut drying time. I used it probably 7 times before I buried it in the back of the closet.

NP here. I ordered this Revlon thing after reading this DCUM thread. It dried my hair quickly and it looked amazing. Didn't even need to break out my hair iron! Thank you!

I am going to be contrarian. I bought the Babyliss Rotating Hot Air Brush at the recommendation of a friend. https://www.amazon.com/BaBylissPRO-Nano-Titanium-Rotating-Brush/dp/B00ALHISAQ

I have thick, wavy hair. I like that it has bristles that grab and help me maintain tension to straighten but at the same time not too many bristles that I cant run it through my hair. I use it with Living Proof TBD styler, which I got recently in a Sephora play box.

I tried this for the first time this morning.
1. It took 1.25 hours to dry my hair.
2. My hair was not straight but very flipped at the ends, Mad Men style.
3. There were little bits of fried hair all over my floor at the end.

I have coarse, curly hair normally. I would try it again but it isn't going to change my life (sadly).

Does anyone recommend an anti-frizz mousse that still keeps the hair soft to use with this?

You can definitely do windblown with this dryer. It's probably also possible to get helmet head too, but I think a flat iron would be better for that.

Agree, I got this thanks to DCUM and love it. Best part for me is that it is so much faster than blow-drying my hair with a regular blow dryer and brush and I do not have to deal with the tangles a regular dryer ends up causing if I use it on high. Love it.

Had to revive this thread. Finally bought the Revelon One and it is worth the DCUM hype. I usually can not do any quality blow dry myself and my hair looked really good!!

Yes! I/m AA can actually just use this and not use a flat iron - pretty crazy - and it only takes about 20 minutes. I imagine depending on texture of your hair you might have to go back over it with a flat iron

Also got this brush because of a DCUM thread recommendation from last year... best $60 ever! So glad I didn't get the Dyson blowdryer like I originally wanted

You ladies should be getting commission checks: When you type in “Revlon” in the Amazon search bar, this is the first thing that comes up

Got mine in my cart now!!
