Actually, go close to closing time. Once, you're in line, they have to see you. The lines move really fast as the workers want to get done and go home. This has been my strategy in four different states, and it's very effective!

Things like speeding (as long as it's not so far to qualify as reckless driving) or running a stop sign are just moving violations. Driving without a license is a criminal charge and you can be locked up right there. That's a significantly more serious crime.

I don't believe this happened but assuming it did, I'm sure that this person had a lot more going on, such as outstanding warrants, than just driving on an expired license.

There’s a big difference between your license being a few days expired and it being suspended for multiple DUI’s and outstanding arrest warrants.
