I think it's easy to "waltz" through life and appear tremendously lucky and talented when you have incredible industry connections, plenty of money to do nothing while you wait for the right offer, and the ability to not work or to drop out of college with no repercussions. For every Gwyneth there are 30 other equally or more talented women working their asses off.
