Oddly enough the doctor is starting me on very low doses. 75 follistim and 225 menopur.

I’m the previous poster. My progesterone was also too high for fresh. In all of my 3 cycles it always has been. So we froze the Day 3s to do as FETs. On each of my 3 cycles we upped the meds and my results didn’t get any better. If I cycle again I think we will go down to the smaller doses. Anyone have thoughts on whether/how estrogen priming might help me?

The first time at 36.5 - 2 transferred (7 celll and 10 cell). Remaining 6 all arrested after day 3 - DD is 3 years old.
Second time at 38 - 2 transferred (two “perfect 8 cells”), BFN, remaining 5 all arrested
Third Attempt at 38.5 - 3 transferred (all 8 cells w less than 10% frag) - DD is 11 months. - remaining 6 all arrested after day 4.

I have DOR, .4-.2 AMH, FSH around 8-9, Starting AFC is always 3/4 but end up w 10-13 Retrieved with mid dose stims and estrogen priming. My fert rate is always 75-80%.

Thank you for sharing this. I’m the PP who recently transfered two Day3 embryos and got pregnant but miscarried. I’m waiting now to transfer my remaining three Day3s. My DH and I just can’t make blasts. I’m praying that this doesn’t mean I have no normal eggs left.

So none.

Doctor is suggesting that my husband see a urologist and talk about sperm extraction to use for IVF to try to get less methylate (?) sperm? Any one have better luck with that?

I’m so sorry. I’ve been down this road and I know how hard it is. I think the procedure you’re referring to is called TESE or TESA. I have not done it but I’ve heard of it working. It’s a good next step! Hang in there!

Day 6

1 at early blast
2 at late morula

Why can't my eggs get to full blastocyst?!!?? They get so close.

Anyone have luck with a day 7--is that even possible?

12 eggs retrieved
8 mature
5 fertilized
All 5 made t to day 2
1-5 cells
2-3 cells
3-2 cells
4- 2cells
5 2 cells

On day 2, they like to see at least 2 cells but preferably 3-4 cells.

Thoughts?

I don't think one can draw any conclusion about the outcome at this stage. FWIW, during my last cycle, those embryos that grew very fast did not make it to blasts. The slow-and-steady ones did.
