I'm getting the story wrong. Oops. They were discussing at daycare hospitals and the teacher must have said something along the lines of "babies are born in hospitals" to which DD replied, "No, I was born in a banjo on my knee!"
Confused, the teacher asked me at pickup what that meant...took me awhile too before I realized DD was trying to tell her teacher that she was born in Louisiana (because the banjo on my knee part of the song comes right before they say Louisiana).
