Yeah, the rumor is this is cover for the REAL Hollywood degeneracy: rampant pedophilia.

These are the same people who keep employing Mel Gibson, and letting Woody Allen make movies. So gross.

Speaking as an employment law attorney who tends to work for the "bad guys," there is hardly a man who, given a little power over people he finds sexually attractive, doesn't misuse it. A lot of you posting in this thread probably have husbands, sons, brothers, fathers, male friends who have sexually harassed and/or are currently sexually harassing someone. The way to address this epidemic isn't to wait for the victims to come to light. It is to realize that we have to watch any man in power very closely.
I work in a law firm. And everyone talks about the male partners (it's always partners) who stand too close, who physically intimidate, who stare at women's chests rather than their faces. One partner is lovely though - he will sometimes want to look over documents together with an associate and he'll say "Do you mind if I come around and sit next to you so we can look at this?" And the time I covered for his secretary he asked me "May I come around to show you what I want done on this document?" before he stood next to where I was sitting. He's so respectful of space.

Stealing from non profits.
Just read an article that his last 3 movies were flops and Weinstein Company has had financial struggles for years.
